my name is simon, i'm an adult writer who's been roleplaying in various places for more than enough time as it is.my reply times can delay because i do have disabilities, but please feel free to contact me for anything, or drop threads if you feel like it! i don't mind, i might even do it sometimes.i've been a fan of hazbin since 2019, when the pilot came out. i did know vivziepop before but it really didn't click until the pilot. charlie is my princess and i own her merch like a psychopath.
don't get me involved in ship drama either please, i don't care nor do i really wanna debate the ethics on why i ship charlie and [character], or any other ship to be fair. don't put drama on me full stop, this fandom is insane from what i've gathered in my hay years so PLEASE do not bring me into whatever problems you have. i will listen, but don't get me involved.

if you're under eighteen, do not interact with me! i tend to write sensitive stuff and while not nsfw, some things can be suggestive in nature, so please refrain from interacting if youβre not about that stuff. my writing also includes dead dove content; which can mean a whole load of crap, but please don't go on to me about fiction and reality morality and complain about the way i write when i just like to write whatever i like. don't like? don't read! i will tag stuff that isn't savoury, but don't come to me angry that you saw something you didn't like. also i refuse to write nsfw on the dash, itβs so embarrassing to me only.
donβt feel as if you need to write within a certain time with me, or even immediately. i take as much time as i need to when i need to reply, and i expect you to do the same. if you think i'm going to be mad, i'm not! just don't get mad at me when i take a while, this is a hobby for me, not my part-time job.
i donβt pick up on things easily, so please tell me if iβm doing something wrong, or message me if i need to tag or correct anything in my reply, i won't take it wrong and i am always open to correct any mistakes i may have made.
chemistry is required for shipping. i won't auto-ship unless we're friends, and i am a multi-shipper. if you want to ship, i usually recommend we plot out ideas for charlie and your muse to get together, and don't feel scared to give me funny or outlandish ship ideas. i'm into anything.
if you get me even the slightest bit involved in discourse i'm going to block you, i don't want to be involved in drama; likewise, if you're consistently in drama on my dash i will block you. please do not make me do this.

the way i write charlie is to try and be faithful enough to the show, but i do have headcanons and ways of writing her and how she processes things that are vastly different or might be different in the future due to the show being only on its first season. if this pisses you off i encourage you to walk the other way, because i'm going to write charlie how i interpret her and her relationships with people close to her.

Charlotte Morningstar, more commonly known as Charlie, is the daughter of Lucifer Morningstar and the estranged queen of Hell, Lilith.Charlie retains the same fire and determination her mother has when it comes to her kingdom, and wants to help her people by finding a way to redeem them and send them to Heaven through rehabilitation at the Hazbin Hotel, to which she is the founder of.Being the princess of Hell, more specifically Pride, she is more commonly seen as a joke and not taken seriously despite her overarching position in power. Not many people actually call her Charlie, but by her title instead.

Charlie is compassionate and empathetic to a fault, feeling genuinely upset at the idea of harm coming to others. Although she isn't unaware that Hell is populated with souls that have committed egregious acts in their living lives, ...
... she still views their yearly extermination as a senseless waste and makes it her personal mission to help them avoid it via self-betterment and eventual redemption, something she is seemingly alone in believing is possible.
Charlie's idealism, while setting her apart from many of her hellborn peers, can also make her naΓ―ve to many of the harsh realities that appear to stand in the way of her potential success. This can also cause her to rush headlong into the initial stages of her plans without much preparation (her prompt list before her big news appearance reading only "unicorn kisses, dolphin high fives, sing showtunes = happy ending?").Charlie has a love for musical theatre, song and dance, and will often convey her emotions and ideas through showtunes and ballads. She appears to take perceived failures hard, as she believes her heartfelt theatrical passion should be enough to bring people over to her way of thinking, and is disheartened when it's not as simple as she imagines. She openly admits during a dejected voicemail to her mother that she doesn't actually know what she is doing, or how to make her plan for reforming sinners work in practice.Despite being sweet and lacking "street-smarts", this doesn't make Charlie a pushover or stupid. When people insult her or openly mock her ideals and plans, she has no hesitation in standing up for herself, or even rolling up her sleeves to physically fight back. She is also not above letting a few cuss words slip.Charlie also displays some grounding in her idealism, understanding that not all demons can be redeemed, or even likely to change for the better.
